Phil is a nursing healthcare professional and worked in numerous roles spanning clinical, leadership and governance roles. She has worked in acute trusts, community and primary care settings gaining a comprehensive understanding of the NHS. She worked as the CEO for Leeds Clinical Commissioning Group and retired in 2019. Currently she serves as Chair of St Gemma’s Hospice in Leeds and a Non Executive Director at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust.

Andrew has a wealth of experience in NHS leadership roles and was previously chair of the NHS Confederation Community Network.

Andrew was chief executive of Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust and formerly regional director for the South of England at NHS England and National Programme Director for the Better Care Fund. Prior to joining NHS England, Andrew led a cross government task force to improve the better care fund and before that was managing director for the NHS Commissioning Support Unit in North and East London.

Andrew has also worked in acute hospitals and charities with roles at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and the Terrence Higgins Trust.

Karen is recently retired from an enriching, 40 year career in teaching. She has spent the vast majority of her time working with senior school pupils delivering GCSE English Language and Literature and A Level English Literature ,Film Studies and Psychology.

Teaching in a range of environments, including inner city comprehensive schools and a Performing Arts school, Karen gained skills delivering courses to students with a wide range of educational needs and aspirations. She is now enjoying a portfolio of activity based around further learning and charitable work such as ‘Thank You Healthcare Staff’ and ‘Amani Children’s Home’ in Tanzania.
